Valley fight 4 fight results.

This is the first competition for the Pridegym
of the fall,Daniel Ferguson and Brad Causey of the Pridegym fought MMA
fights in Chilliwack B.C. on Friday September 7th at the Tzeachten Hall in
front of 700 fans.

First up was Brad Causey vs Rick Hopp of Chilliwack,the fight started out
with both fighters exchanging punches then the fight got tied up in a clinch
.Once in the clinch Hopp went for a take down but ended up on the bottem of
the take down.Causey worked for better position and start throwing punches
to the head & body of Hopp.Hopp shows his great jiu jitsu skills reversed
the position and Causey found himself on his back for a short moment.Causey
reveres the position and gets Hopp face down with Causey slipping on a body
triangle(which is a very difficult hold to get out of) making a bad spot
for Hopp to be in vonable for the rear naked choke and is what the Pridegym
fighter goes for and has it momentarily and Hopp brakes the rear naked
choke.But this made the Pridegym fighter turn to striking and that's what
Causey did by throwing right hook left hook over and over till the ref
jumped in and called the fight giving Causey the TKO win at 3min of round
one.

Second up was Daniel Ferguson (PRIDE GYM) vs Sahba Fadi (Revolution
Chilliwack),this was the main event of the night.First info on Revoltion,the
Revolution gym is a well known gym for MMA in Canada.This gym is under the
Gracie Barra(the Gracies are the legendary jiu jistsu family that started
Brazilin jiu jitsu).So this gym is stacked with the top trainers in jiu
jistsu,boxing and muaythai also having top fighters that have fought in the
UFC like Kalib Starnes .
The entrance was great as Daniel was called to the ring first and the Fadi
was called in second with build up of the fan chanting Sahba.He comes to the
ring with a chain of fighters and trainers in a Gracie chain(this is how the
Gracie family came into the octagon in the UFC).Ferguson and Fadi stand off
nose to nose while the ref runs them threw the rules.The start of the fight
was a quick one when Daniel shoots in a takes Fadi down.Daniel gets top
position and starts to work fadi over with some punches.Fadi defends well
and over turns Ferguson and Daniel gets guard and fights off all Fadis
punches.Ferguson perfectly times a armbar.This armbar was sunk in and
Ferguson cranks the arm to point of dislocating.Most fighters would of
tapped out with this move sunk in,but Fadi twisted him self out and stood
up.The two fight throw punches and kicks at each other and then Ferguson
shoots in again and takes his opponent down and gets full mount and pins him
to the canvas and starts raining down punches that connect hard on Fadis
face and then the ref jumps into pull Ferguson off for the safety of the
fighter.Ferguson win by TKO of the 4min 50 seconds of the first round.

Both Daniel and Causey are back in the ring on September 22nd in Lethbridge.
